subaru will only be producing 800 of tehse (not 1000 oops) hence the term "limited" . even if people really like the new features i doubt they will incorporate this specific model as a full production run , what's the point of making it a big deal with the engraved plate stamped with your sequential model # and so on? if you want these features, you have to buy the limited version . wow marketing!
and yes it looks like this is the "toned down" sti

the only two things I like about this model, are the ipod hook up and the sunroof. The nsx was not a limited run and it had the number stamped on it. Doesn't the s202,3,4 have stamped numbers too?

i tell you the reason why they are stamped, it's an 80k car to begin with, only 8800 TOTAL (from beginning of production in 1990 to 2005) were sold in the US and now production is ending for the NSX . the civic was just an argument that it would be ridiculous to stamp #814793 on a car. agin, bringing us to the original point, the GSR is not a STI limited. it's like saying the sentra SE-R is the same as a 360 competition, the corolla S is a 911 GT3, etc
