there should a rigid frame inside creating a skelton and the body panels applied on acting as a skin.

im assuming the tension cables are to hold up the robot during construction.

that's a job for a mechanical(sp) engineer......which I'm not....I can draw that up in 2d or 3d......but it won't come out right......where the mechanical engineer would know how to design it, what material to use and such.....
but since you are neither.....you wouldn't understand it...
