Which one would you guys do? The 18g or the VF34 (or was it 39?) turbo kit form Gruppe-S? I mention gruppe-S since it is only 10 min away from my house in Norcal.

Not all 18g are the same. The Greddy is the 5hi7 in my opinion. If you do go with it the key will be in the tuning. I driven a 18g STi but I did not tune it. It felt good but something was missing, I could not put my finger on it.
20g should be a better match for the 2.5 engine thou. Most of it will in the tuning
