I'm serious. The whole purpose of having a big brake kit is to increase the fade resistance. It does not make you stop any sooner. It's like when people buy a CAI or a muffler. Think you're making power? its only noise.
Decreased stopping distance is achieved between the brake pad and tire you're running on. Steel braided lines gives a firmer pedal feel. Larger brakes are only for fade resistance.

what type of driver are you
edit since you're new
Do you track your car?
Is this your only car?
Do you have wheels that will clear a BBK
Are you willing to get different wheels if they do not clear?
Are you prepared to buy replacement parts?( pads cost in the upper $200 and maybe $250 per brake disc)

don't bother, get brake pads, steel lines brake fluid castrol SRF or motul 600.
For canyon runs make sure you have good tires, none of that all seasonal crap
for the 1/4 mile there is plenty of distance for you to stop, if you need more braking power, down shift.
