I know dude, but i don't pick cotton, I work in the house... I'm a house ni... well you get the picture.. I don't have rags on my back and I was fortunate enough to be provided with shoes...... I'm just really bored with my job now, my *** is growing roots through my chair from sitting all day. I've never really been the "Sit there for hours and hours" type of person, call it A.D.D. or whatever.. I need to be up and about.
Either way, It was a job at the time and my initial plan of 2 years max (to get some work expierience) turned into 8 years with this company. I was the first employee here and everyone has come and gone except the boss ( you know who that is) and myself... I sit, stare at a monitor, and surf the web. Post on i-club, and do probably 2 hours of actual work in any given day.... We outsource as much as we can for our marketing campaigns, and all there really is to do is to make sure everything runs smoothly......
Some people say "Wow you sit and get paid" well yes, but I want more then that.. Call me weird, or stupid.. But I like hussle and bussle, I want a challenge.. It helps me burn off the excess energy I have that makes me seem like I have "ants in my pants" so to speak...
When it all boils down to it. Even though I want to change my career, I do have a lot of perks working where I am. I mean they did pay for my truck, and within 3 years of that, they are paying for my STi (i'm not braggin, just making a point) for starters, I won't go into all the other details... If I really dedicate myself to becoming a nurse, i'd still be working here and going to school nights and weekends (if at all possible)...
So thats my story... Sorry for the novel...

But I am seriously considering a carreer change in a few years (after school that is). Would it be too late to start a path in nursing @ 26?

What are your duties as a volunteer, and how many hours do you need to be considered "acceptable".... and do you just goto any hospital and say "Hey doc, i wanna volunteer"

Lisa was in school for about 5 years at loma linda. It's one the to get through school and another thing to get your RN. Don't get me wrong, being a nurse pays a lot, however the more you make the more you spend.
Then again and Eddie can vouch for me, Nurses know how to party.
