i called around all the main insurance places (mercury, geico, progressive, 21st century, i forget the rest) when i got my car and state farm was the cheapest for me. and that was even before i told them that i'd be adding on to the family insurance... then family+loyalty reduced the insurance even more.

your rates definetely depend on where you live. when i moved down to HB my rates droped 200 per year.

i would check out mercury and wawenesa. those are generally cheaper than most.

I had been with Farmer's since I had purchased my car. No real big complaints other than the cost.

As of the end of Feb I am now with AAA. Great service when I was in the office signing up. You can handle all DMV matters at their office instead of waiting in line at the DMV. AAA was the lowest quote I got by more than $1000. That's why I went with them.

I hear Mercury has cheap rates but years ago my dad used them for car insurance and complains the service was crap.

I hope this helps!

Sean

thats what i thought too
but the rates are based on how large the population of the city is. the mercury agent i spoke with told me that Hb has a more incidents but because the city is larger the precentage is smaller, meaning cheaper insurance.

It's not who's over who. It's their physical position. Whether you want to see Angelina riding Stacy or the other way around.
