my internet problems still continue, I was only able to play 3 games. Then for some f'n reason I couldn't jump in any other games

 

your router is blocking some ports

 

what do I do to fix it?

 

you have to do a combo move but it requires an old controller which might be hard to find...
try...
up up down down left right left right B A B A select Start

well the biggest problem can your ps3 connect to the router?
if yes then find out what IP your router assigned for the PS3
then depending on what type of router you have configure it to allow(fowarding certain ports to go to ur ps3

make sure you set the router to allow back door action for the PS3

 

well i was talking to him and he didn't have much problems when wired in, but when he had wireless on it gave him a DNS error which i have no clue why o.O. i duno about ports being blocked if is able to get on it for even a few seconds that shouldn't be the case.

 

then the signal generated by the router isn't strong enough to get to the ps3

 

to give him a dns error? o.O

well either the ports aren't fowarded to the PS3 or the signal isn't strong enough. Before i punched a hole in my router for my ps3 i would be okay in the lobby but would not connect in to the game.
