suicide attempt?
so i'm in riverside at my apt right now. and at my cross streets (El Cerrito/Canyon Crest) there's some mexican guy in a wifebeater on a roof. he's been yelling and screaming at the cops and the police helicopter hovering around. for quite a few hours now. My roommates were kicked out of the scene but they saw the cops shoot the guy with several (8 i believe...could be my roommate exaggerating) beanbag guns. but the guy just shrugged them off, and is continuing to stumble around the roof yelling and screaming.
it's been going on since around 6pm-ish i think. I drove by at like 5mph, and the cops were trying to wave me away, but i kept going slow anyways ( no traffic thank god), plus i wanted to see them shoot the guy or him fall or something entertaining happen. there's around 15-20 police cars around the area, and one bike cop.
finally...i get to see something live. the last time i saw something newsworthy like this was freshman year when I saw a police car chase on watkins street across from the Pentland Hills dorms.
------------
update: roommate just got back from studying. he said the wifebeater is off now and they are hosing him down wth a firetruck or something trying to knock him down
