I stay offline because he was making his presence on the left side in my blind spot.
It seemed to me at the time that he was making a pass.
With franco's comment "expect a pass any where" i stay offline in case the vw wanted to charge up and pass me.

FYI it had nothing to do with me not letting lawson pass.
The pro driver didn't even need me to lift to facilitate a pass. And those people did a damn good job getting around us on or off line.
So technical there are no lines.
I got nothing against lawson.. but dont' come complaining all the time that i won't let u pass.
We all know we all got pass on and off line by those pro driver.
You didn't give me the chance to finish my comment before you blasted off. Yes i didn't have enough room to pass and i didn't feel it was safe to pass. However i was trying to comment about this specific incident. But since you ranted off you assumed that it was about me passing you, which is not true. After watching the video i thought you missed your braking point and went wide giving you the benefit of the doubt, which you later said you went wide and to be offline. which is another story.

any ways to end this conversion.. yeah i did learn alot that day
Having to be aware of other driver around you when running in advance class
cuz they will make passes on you any where on the track.
So instead of just watching for driver making presence to you on the straights when running in beginner or intermediate class,
you have to keep ur eyes peeled of your surrounding at all time in advance class.
it was a very interesting and eye opening experience on the track.
which really rattle my cage in the first few sessions.

but don't expect me to give easy passes from now on.

yeah no room to pass after the esses and it's not like that rabbit had an insane amount of hp to make that pass. (ahem...GT3 cup car...) the red miata was dictating the pace of that particular pack. mistakes were made but it's driver attitude that really sets all this off. my g/f missed the black flags and she got bumped down because of it. she did say it was too much for her and with that said, you didn't need to be calling her an idiot after the incident. it would be appreciated if you could show some mutual respect as a friend and maybe also as a driver about the situation. it would be like asking lisa or connie to go into advanced group and not expecting them to be over their heads about it. i can't speak for why she missed the flags, but it's what happened, a bunch of advanced n00bs slowing down the pro drivers.

don't end it here. Its a learning experience. If the driver behind you sees an opportunity to make a pass, they will as long as its safe. So hence, expect a pass.

Sure I know we are reviewing a rabbit that runs ITE in SCCA regionals vs a street Miata. Power wise the rabbits only make 70-90whp depending on which motor it was. While the Miata is what 110whp?

miata is probably 95 whp so against the vw comparing power
it isn't much different.

well on the lighter side of things

A lot of the advanced drivers thought many of us belonged there and didn't even realize it was our first time. They gave us credit for running our street cars with them. I'm not going to name any names because I'd rather not keep things that personal and make the people who were not applauded feel bad. We were pretty much incident free and all of you did very very well. It was a learning experience for all of you and I am glad we got a chance to do something together since meeting up in parking lots is no longer cool.

you don't need insane amount of HP to pass thou.
The white spec miata were running circles around alot of higher HP cars.
