Question rear differential sensor

Yes I searched

Any hints on how to undo the plug? Are there release clips? Or does it just pull off?

I trying to change to Syn lube

Thanks

what sensor?

If you want to change the diff oil you just need a 1/2 drive and un screw it.

my 05 Sti has a temp sensor in the fill plug (I have been in the place where the diff is drained and the fill plug would not come out - long story)

Anyway, I found the release and have changed the diff lube to Mobile Syn

Trans is next but I think I will do that the day I do my Kartboy SS

Thanks for the help you were about to offer

Thanks but my Sti is a tad harder - a sensor plug comes out and then it's a 30mm plug rather than the 1/2 which the drain still is

damn it

there is a sensor on the top of the diff. only the STis have it

the Shifter bushings are underneath the car so do that while you change the oil
