I can't remember where I got mine from but my jack stands are pretty flat on top, there isn't that downward step in the middle( I hate those, somejuan leaned on a car I was working on and the damn jack tipped and I was under the car).

also there is no release lever, its all lock pin layout ( those release levers can drop the car on you if you kick it on accident).

the costco one looks good. they are the low profile ones and should squeeze in under lowered cars. good price

yeah i'm looking for ones that have max lift of 20+ inch..
because i remember buying those pepboy special and one that kevin had that lift only 15-17 inch.. we couldn't even get it high enough to put jack stand on the pinch point..

Fixed! with that said. I look at it this way, your spending money on a product that is going to keep a 3 thousand pound car off your azz. Do you really want to go the cheap route and buy the "No Frills" brand? I wouldn't... I think for a jack, 120-200 is not too much to ask for. A few cracked ribs, crushed spine, or a 1 time fee for funeral expenses at Rose Hills will set you back a pretty penny..... Just my $.02

agree..
that's why u should always use jack stand in conjunction with floor jack..
and something behind the tire to keep car from rolling..
