Better off replacing the hub, you never know what kind of crack develop on a cast piece espcially since FI makes crake parts. Better change it before the the kunkle snaps while you're on the road and pull of the LAPD into a building due to understeer

Would the dealership have recognized whether or not I needed to replace the hub when they were down there inspecting that area? Or is this something that isn't really noticeable?

Okay, now I'm confused. I called the place and told them to order the parts to replace the whole front left hub assembly and the guy said that I might need to replace the right side too. When I asked him why he said, "ok, well we'll just go ahead and do the left and see how it looks afterwards." Why would I need to replace the right side too? :-/
