well yeah but in my eyes someone can buy a supercar or make a kit car for the fraction of the price. the kit car maybe able to out preform the supercar, but it is still just a kit car. that is just the way i see it.

Dells aren't terrible, but their tech support is.. Plus you can do a lot better pricewise on your own. I have a DELL XPS Gen4 that I gave my folks not too long ago.

the 1TB hdd was a $300 option. it's only 7200rpm sata. (Not even e-sata.) they go for $99 on newegg
ATI 4870 512mb was +400 OVER the standard video card they give you.
+4GB Ram was another +400....$100/for 1gb? Ok now that is just a rip off. I just bought 4gb ram for under $50 bucks.
