dunno. List some stuff off so i can best match it. Whatever it is, it needs maintenance. The cold air is blowing on top of me and its freezing. The A/C was broken on the other half of the building so they were using a HUGE fan to blow the cold air on our side to their side. LOLOL

hmm... how are the rooms zoned? how many floors is the building? how many thermostats? how old is the building? what's the square footage?

you probably have multizone air handlers with VAVs?

if it's an ooold building, you might have CAV with reheat. super waste of energy.
if you only have one or two floors and they skimped out on the HVAC, you may have single zone packaged units.

is this your work?
http://maps.live.com/default.aspx?v=...cl=1&encType=1 (i searched northrop grumman near torrance, ca)

looks like big packaged units?

the view that you showed me was too far south. Search in Redondo Beach. Its on Aviation.

Zoned? Well on each floor, there are two general areas for cubicles and offices separated by a hallway with restrooms, meeting rooms, etc...

Its a hodgepodge of old and new buildings that they sell and buy as they see fit to match whatever the company is doing. I find the thermostats but they are computer controlled and can't be adjusted manually. We have 2 floors in our building and where mikes momma works. sq footage? Our building is about maybe the size of 2 or 3 lots for houses. I saw Johnson Controls repair van here a couple of times and we just had a crane in front to repair the A/C unit for our building... If you are stuck underneath a vent, you are SOL.
