i speak the truth. i'm obliged to help. I can leave anytime but just can't expect more work to come my way if i did. simple as that. I hate being yanked around like that, but thats the way it works.

^^you need a new employer. not all places are like that.
i have flex hours and i just TELL my boss when i need to leave early. my last job wasn't like that and i left after a year.
i need to restock on pepper spray.

And yes, this is what happens if you want into the aerospace business. No matter where you go. Its a sacrifice I have to make for liking my field.

There is one option I can take which is becoming a shopper, but I need to endure another 2 years. Then I can go to a shop and they can fit me into job after job and not have to endure crap like what happened yesterday. No flex, but not being at the mercy of whomever is controlling the milestones and schedules is always nice.

escaping from the boeing prison (boeing is actually worse than Northrop tbh) is always good. I'm not too interested in the HVAC/thermodynamics world and more into composites, composite structures and the study of composite applications. If I can get into a company with good nanotubule technology research, i'm down to move out of this place. =D Most likely would be with Lockmart in norcal tho. hehehehe
