I'm 246 on the right of each slip. The first race was against that evo, he launched early but I still beat him :-D. The second was against an sti. Both cars had some work done, but I was glad to be a contender with my little 2.0L ;-P. I know I can do a lot better than that too, it's just my clutch can't handle it. I actually burned all the way through the clutch in 1st gear from the launch against that evo. I had a nice launch against the sti on my second run. After that day, it's definately time for a new clutch :-) The stock clutch just can't handle the power, I can probably do a low 13, easy...

It was nice that day, it wasn't windy and the temp. was cool. LACR is located in high desert, so it's flat and slightly elevated to about 2710 ft., there wasn't a cloud in the sky that day either. What really surprised me was that it wasn't very crowded. I've been to Famosa in Bakersfield and I got two runs in about 4.5 hours. This place, I did two runs within half an hour of each other.

Nice times...I think I saw you run against the Evo. Tha Evo kept hitting high 14's most of the day. Not sure but I thought you hit a 12.50 on one run Saturday? Either way excellent times specially with the higher elevation. Did you compete on Sunday? Only got to see the end of the races that day? Completely regreted not running.

I only ran those two times on Saturday. I just did the fun runs because I've only been to a drag track once before this and I don't want to COMPLETELY kill my clutch, I still have to use this bad boy as my daily driver. But ya, today at work I was thinking about my times and applying them to the elevation and my reaction time, etc. I've come to the conclusion that TECHNICALLY (ya I know this word implies a bs statement ;-P) my car can do a high 12 1/4 mile.
Take 13.766, subtract the reaction time of .664 and you get 13.102, then figure the time at sea level. According to the LaCR site, they say to multiply the time by .97, doing so results in 12.708. So, in a perfect world at sea level with a reaction time of 0, my car does a 12.7 :-P
And actually, I have two clips of my runs :-p They're 13.7mb together...

When I use to run LACR they told me to just subtract .6 from my time and that would be a good close figure to what I would run at sea level. Remeber that your raction time does not effect your 1/4 time.
I miss that place you could so many runs in and it was only like 30 mins from my house. Hit it up on a Wed nights it is pretty empty. Friday nights aren't to bad either. Nice times, I wish I got to run my WRX before I left just to see what it could do.
