HoOOOOooly SHAT!

24 hour eats in OC

PHO THANH
9625 Bolsa Ave., Westminster, 714-839-9882.
and PHO HOA
9211 Bolsa Ave., Suite 101, Westminster, 714-899-4886.

Both offer up big bowls of that inexpensive Vietnamese comfort food at all hours. Simple and fresh-tasting satisfaction in the form of beef or chicken broth with rice noodles, onions and the meat of your choice, served with a plate of lime, crunchy bean sprouts, mint, cilantro and jalapeņo peppers for your taste-tailoring pleasure. All for about $5 a bowl. (A warning: you might encounter karaoke at Pho Hoa after midnight.)

I'm so there at 3:30am

My late-night munchy of choice is usually Del Taco... After consuming liquids all night, any broth-like food isn't really appealing. However any type of soup is probably much better for preventing a hangover than an extra large order of deluxe chili cheese fries.

I guess the fries and the cheese would be good to soak up some alcohol..
