They warped my rotors... Just make sure you vent them good...or do a cool down drive after driving hard. I also suggest Project U.

Deep. But i'd have to agree.. No matter what type of crappy pad (pep boys generic, some no-name cheap generic brand for the old prelude, etc) or decent one (raybestos) i've driven on, nothing ever got warped.

here's a simple recipe for example... Go out and do some canyon runs... make sure to stay on the brakes plenty... now here comes the best part.... stop, and keep your foot on the brakes for a bit without any chance of a cool down of the brakes. Maybe you can even put your e-brake on... what happens is that pad material transfers on to the rotor... causing them to "warp"... they aren't really warping... its just that there's more material in that spot.

heh.. i'll experiment with that when i get extra brake pads and rotors. X)

My dad had to get his 240z rotors re-turned but that was due to the fact that the rotors were pieces of crap.... Those rotors were badly warped... He thought he could save some money...
