i'm thinking i should invest in a good radar detector too..
I will look into the escort passport unit more.

some sites say v1 some say passport

passport was 100$ cheaper

I like the Valentine 1 b/c of it's direction arrow feature and the hideaway unit. the escort 9500 is really good also.
i asked the same question in a thread a while back and got the same answers
