Me: I received my laptop back and it still over heats. The comp slows down when the temp hits 80degC in speedfan..
Idiot tech(in some latin accent): Eh.. yes. um.. We apologize for the problems you have. You will have to send it back again so we can test it with actual gaming software..
Me: What did you guys test it with? I told the guy I called that Stress Prime and Benchmark won't show a problem with the machine. You have to actually play the game I'm playing.
Tech idiot: eh yes.. We again apologize for the problems you have. so what we have to do now is... wait.. test it with a better game..
Me: I told you that we used stress prime and benchmark when I first called you guys 2 weeks ago when I shipped the system out to be diagnosed..
Robot: Eh yes... You will have to ship it back in to have us check it out. We couldn't test it with the game you are playing (WoW) because it is a subscriber game.
Me: I told you guys that from the beginning.
Idiot: Eh yes. Again we apologize for the inconvenience. But you still have problems with the system and we have to have the system shipped back to us for us to replicate the problem.
Me: I told you guys EXACTLY what to do and it was pretty simple. Play WoW for 1.5 hours.
Tech: eh yes, but we can't play it because we don't test with subscriber games.

Me: You know what? I'll call customer support to see what my other options are and i'll leave it at that..

What a great day today is.... Alienware clearly trying to weasel their way out of the 2 year warranty that I bought. Moral of todays story kids: DON'T BUY STUFF FROM ALIENWARE. You get connected to tech support but you get some zombie that reads procedures from a binder and probably knows nothing about the comp... They apologize every other line and eventually their apologies became almost meaningless... They won't fess up to a terrible design and I'm not buying from them again.

yep its a gaming laptop. I play WoW when I get home from work with some other coworkers.. Which now a days is around 8 or 9pm. Where the hell else can i go at that time? I eat, play for a couple of hours and go to sleep. I have a desktop, but i take the laptop with me to norcal when I go home. Its portable and powerful. Next mobile one is prolly gonna be this:
