see what trips me out is if taste is 70% smell and 30% actual taste and if the fruit smell like poo it would taste like poo, and there are people that love it and say it taste really good. that is what got me wanting to taste it, not the taste of poo but the taste of sweetness.

i have never tried Durian (My parents love it but it stinks like crap, they only cut it open in their garage to air out for the next week lol) but I have tried the dried durian chips. it isn't that bad actually. most thai markets/communities should stock these (aka north hollywood)

 

i guess it an acquired taste? its just like menudo i love the heck out of that stuff but there are some people who are repulsed by it and cant take the smell of it. i guess i will be trying durian when i get my hands on it.

pretty much, i don't know many people in our age group that likes it, mainly older generation. at least in the states.

 

can always tell in the house when the parents open up one.. there's no way of escaping it.. hahah.

hahah yeah there is a boy band called menudo but it also the name a mexican soup usually eaten at breakfast. it is awesome!! it taste soo good!!
