so depends if you are OK with the drive or not.

i am assuming you have had the plugs replaced
the things you should ask for
compression test.
and check the coolant for oil.
It may be a coil but if you spent that much im assuming they replaced it (i have a new one laying around if you want to test it)

other than that i cant think of anything else

 

i used to drive 100 miles one way to my job so distance isn't a problem for me if i'm getting the best work.

i had the spark plugs replaced when the dealer did the required maintenance, i think it was at the 60k mark.

i don't know if they replaced any coil. i don't recall it ever being mentioned. but i'll bring it up when i drop the car off, along with the compression test and oil in the coolant you mentioned. my "home" dealer mentioned the compression test the last time it happened in connecticut, but it was the day i was driving down to new orleans before coming here and they said it would take a long time & cost a lot. plus they thought it was just bad gas so they had me get octane boost & try that.

my only concern is that if i bring it to a place outside a dealership i won't have as much leverage. i don't think i should have to pay for any of this to be done and if they can't fix it or even tell me why it's happening then it should be replaced right? how would i handle something like that at suby specialties? i don't want to screw them over when it's the dealers that are F'ing with me ya know?

i thoguth that much driving you wuold be done with the factory warrenty

then yes go to the dealer make them fix it

i was checking puente hills out, they seem to have the best reviews that i've found. i'd do the drive if i felt cool with the place. i'm not working at the moment so it's not such a problem for me. if mileage wasn't an issue is that where you'd send me?

I went to SCS. Horrible customer service as well as South Coast Mitshi.

 

south coast mitsu is some one else they have nothing to do with SCS

who did you talk to at SCS was it parts or service?

 

Ya but they work together since they are across the street from each other,

 

no one is mitsu one is subaru

there is also south coast toyota

a lot of the dealers put south coast in front of their name in that strip


was it parts or the service or slaes taht was bad at SCS
