Coming from Hawaii to San Diego for Vacation help!

Coming from Hawaii to San Diego for Vacation help!

What up Cali not even sure if I am posting this in the right side. My girl and I are coming down to San Diego on 09/13 through 09/18/05 not to sure what to do. Would like to see some race shops other things that we don't have here in Hawaii like an all whell drive dyno, diffrent race tracks, bigger malls damn whatevers cool. Pm me post whatever any ideas would be great. If I did post this in the wrong area let me know. Would be cool to see other I clubers we got mad Suby love here in Hawaii. Thanks guys oh and if you know of any good restraunts it will her Birthday.

san diego?
the usual tourist stuff like seaworld and the san diego zoo etc..
go to the gas lamp district in downtown san diego, theres lots of restaurants, bars, clubs, louges there. I like "w" hotel... pretty cool lounge

dont know any race shops down there but if you head up to socal (orange county) theres alot of shops here to check out. im sure someone with post up the shops

Blitzsti is right.....there is no real race shops here in San Diego that is worth going to at the moment. I believe I-Speed do have a AWD Dyno, they are located in Vista, CA (not that far out of San Diego). As for a race track there no 1/4 or a road coarse. There is a 1/8th track at Barona and at the Qualcomm statium on Friday (it doesn't happen all the time). You can try Wine tasting up in Temcula (about 45 mins north of San Diego).

How far will I be from Orange County? I will have to rent a car so won't be driving the suby :0( but it's cool

OC has race shops

we are thing on tracks in general. even the crappy 1/4 we had in SD closed

the first tuesday of every month has a huge meet from what i understand

As for tracks.. There is California Speedway and Buttonwillow (2hrs north of Torrance) if i'm not mistaken.. However since you guys are going to be in SD, that would be a bit of a drive...

Yup Laguna Seca is a nice track.. But driving 7hrs up to Norcal from SD is a bit of a stretch isn't it?

Would be great to meet all you guys. I am afraid I am going to get lost just because I live on an island and grew up here so I am not to fam with driving on interstates and big a$$ freeways! I am down to get out and try though
