Welcome to So Cal where everything is freakin expensive! I remember during the last home recession in the early 90's when bargains were to be had! You would be able to find 5 bdr homes in Rowland Heights for $250000! Houses aren't cheap no more.

It's pretty hard but you just have to look. My sis just bought a house in west covina for like 300,000. It was a four bedroom 2 bath and 2 car garge and pool. The thing was that it was in a nice neighborhood but she spent probably like another 100,000 to fix it. Good luck looking. It's not that easy to find a house here.
