Japanese companies do have a good business model and a good commitment to their employees. Did you know japanese companies now aquire your debt?. The was a whole credit market crash in japan maybe 10 years ago? Well since then the economy figured out a way to help better their system so the country won't go into so much foreign debt. Japanese companies now reward their employees with homes in exchange for commitment of work and performance.

Because of these business practices, it is also difficult to obtain a job now. The job market in japan basically stands as this. Older people are holding onto their jobs, younger people or new grads can not get a job. This is why in japan you see lots of people loitering doing nothing. This will have a later affect on them because the younger people will not make enough money to take car of the older people when they are sick and dying.

Even though china has its share of economic problems, they are still continuing to grow. I have many friends in the money industry and I was surprised to hear china is slowly not trading anymore with the US market.Chinas attention is elsewhere.

We are on a sinking ship, does Mt Sac offer cantonese classes?

yup
People are favoring Euro over USD.
USD is beginning to worth nothing
Better start exchanging your money for RMB.

Even europe isn't doing so good. They've been in a recession for 3 years and counting. They are in the recovery stages imo but still financial strength is within china right now since their economy hasn't peaked like ours

UnAmerican my butt... why don't they build better cars so we'll buy it.

Why are people buying hondas and toyotas? Because it's give them good mileage and usually without problems.

If you look at the cars now, just because they are made by Japanese, Korean, European and American...That doesn't mean they are designed by those countries.

The 350z was designed by a middle aged American woman.

The current Toyota Camry was designed by a new college grad from America

Ford F150 was designed by a German.
