i'm having a little debate with a co-worker on how to pronounce "chow mein" (chinese pronunciation). he says it sounds like "chow main" but i've heard chinese people say it and it sounds like "chow mean". which is it?

Yeah but you'd actually have to hear someone say it in order to know what that sounds like. Thats why I spelled it "Ts(since he already knows how to pronounce that) then OW, so Ts-ow Me-In. cause "Tsu" would sound like "Tsooooo" wouldn't it? Me An would just sound like someones name "Ann" in english... Ah hell... Just call eddie up on his cell and he will explain it to you lol...
