New Forum Idea
Hey Guys and Girls,
I have an idea for you all. I'm fairly new to the modding world (my05 wrx is the first new car I have ever owned/modded) and I have appreciated how i-club members are so helpful with sharing their knowledge gained through experience. In addition to being a member of i-club, I'm also apart of nasioc, but I-club is my home. One of the major things I have appreciated about nasioc's boards, that we at i-club lack, is a "mod manifesto" detailing the do's and don't of modding and specific suggestions for all subies in a central location. I know everyone has different takes on CAI's, engine management, pulleys, suspension, ect. I propose that we create a new forum/thread to address these issues especially for the noobs out there who are just getting into car modding. This would be similar to "unibombers manifesto" and would be written by either staff members, or members with extensive knowledge so the rest of us can learn from their experiences. What do you guys think?

The Ongoing Projects Forum is a good place to start for that kind of info. Then specific questions are more easily answered in the tech forums than general ones, like "What mods to get with X dollars?" and the like.

It's a great place to start, I agree but I'm talking about a comprehensive discussion from staffers/very experienced modders. This will also minimize the dumb noob questions asked in the forums that have already been discussed a million and a half times. Maybe all the staffers could list their platforms and mods they have done to their car, in that same centralized location, as I am sure other i-clubbers are interested in that information as well.
