Will the deck itself operate w/o that other hardwear in the picture? What are the other pieces other than the deck? Just curious... Is it sold yet?

they are supposed to be together and no it isn't sold yet.
once is teh TV tuner and the other is the reciever ( amp pre outs, speaker line out puts and what not)

So obviously you would have to mount the TV tuner and the reciever elsewhere and it couldn't all be in dash, could it?

everything works 100% right? I may want it. Does it play DvD's or just cds, also do you have to put up an antenna for the TV to work, or is it built in?

Yes you have to put the antennae in the window for the tv tuner to work.
