Takes about 3 days or so without water for the average Joe. Is that tidbit about retained water true? I guess it would have to be...
That's Funny.
I love how people think it's a right to die case when there's been no reports or evidence that she has asked them to die either. Make no mistake about it, this is not a right to die case whatsoever. It's basically a quality of life case that cannot be substantiated by a team Doctors, Psychologists and Philosophers according to recent reports from her doctors on MSNNBC VS. a right to die case that only exists from the Husband's hearsay. If other convincing conditions existed then I’d be completely for the tube removal.
But nurses attempting to give her water is no rumor. One has been arrested already. Not sure if she actually placed a cup to her lips though.

Her brain is gone, all that is left is the brain stem and a melon full of fluid, so it is not a quality of life thing. She no longer exists, and if there is a little piece of her brain that has any fragment of her memory of what she used to be, that little bit of her is nothing more than a prisoner in a useless body.

I wonder now, if she does indeed die are supporters of youthanasia going to march on capital hill and try for a law to pass making it legal? Or is this really not the same thing? I kinda think it has ties.

This is not euthanasia.
Euthanasia: The act or practice of ending the life of an individual suffering from a terminal illness or an incurable condition, as by lethal injection or the suspension of extraordinary medical treatment.
there is nothing lethal being injected, and a feeding tube is not extraordinary medical treatment.

the average joe might indeed last 3 days without water, but this poor woman is not exactly average. at her activity level (which is pretty much zero by the way) she could probably last quite a bit longer.

Now what I want to know is if the bed she is in has a cutout so her bare *** can hang through so she can do her business. That would be the easiest way, all you have to do is hose her off when she is done and change the bucket underneath from time to time...

Hell you never know since she can not push and can not move maybe it comes out as a single brown rope and they just cut it off from time to time when it gets too long - like fingernails or something. And maybe they even put different colored food coloring in her meal of mush to see if they can make a rainbow rope. I know I would...
