And it's also iffy on woodland. A lota druggies there but the new part of woodland is nice. Elk Grove is really nice to me. Not too expensive like the roseville/rocklin area, cops are less of a dick but still bad. Area has enough to do and is pretty central to a lot of things, and you can get to folsom fast with bradshaw to 50 or take grant line.

If there are no kids, Downtown can be a pretty cool place to live. Crime isn't all that bad. and you can walk to just about anything worth doing. Biggest downside is most the building are old and sometimes you don't get much living space for what you pay.

lol. I hope you found my reasoning behind my statements fairly logical there chickenpants. =]

Also a suggestion. I would try and stay closer to I80 as opposed to Highway 50. Just an easier route for the most part and links up to more areas of interest in my opinion.

I suppose. But me personally I'd still rather live in Elk Grove than Downtown. Newer homes, cheaper, semi-close to ****.

Even with, the home invasion and shootings I wouldn't call the amount of times it happens a lot at all. What are the stats on the shootings/home invasions in a year in elk grove?

I like how the favorite pats of Sacramento people name off, are not Sacramento. The city limits go north/south from north highlands to the Florin area and east/west of the Sacramento river to Watt ave.

My house is in Fair Oaks, right by the American river. Great area!
