slats rule. We spent a gazillion dollars on a European Sleep Designs bed. Something like 3,500 springs topped with a latex pad on top of a tunable slat system. I have never slept so well in my life as I have in the past year.

the thing that swayed us away from foam was the questionable breathability. If you get hot, which I'm told is a problem on the foam, and you sweat or "deposit any other liquids", the foam is not as good at letting it escape.

The springs are gaurenteed for life and the cover can be opened so they can be replaced.

Oh, and the cover on the bed is made of wool... so how do I vote?
