I need a tool or command to tell me what the IP of a device on an Ethernet network is when I know it's MAC. Non-Windows solutions need not apply.

A sniffer would be a last resort.

Here's a hint, it's done with DHCP...

If all else fails, just download one of the programs that does it, it's much easier

hmm.... My computer does such things...



and...when i take pictures...my computer makes them hip and condescending.

What if you are using static IPs and DHCP is turned off?
