Hmmm... im thinking even cheaper now- like RSX

Im trying to lower my insurance because its eating me alive... i can afford the payment on almost any car i want, but i cant afford to also pay an insurance payment thats as much as the car is monthly.

Any ideas for cheaper cars (10-16k) that are still semi fun??

Without looking at the premiums for the RSX, I'd think it has the same problem as the WRX does now: people crashing them left and right and more than the WRX: theft. Besides, unless the insurance is WAAAYYYYY less, I can't see a single reason to go to the RSX over the WRX.

Just checked insurance on the RSX... $330 a month

Not enough difference to justify it.

Guess i gotta go cheaper

What about a non-turbo Subaru? The problem with pretty much all Hondas is the ricer factor and theft, Toyota has huge theft issues with the Camry. You could get a truck, like a Taco, Frontier, etc. They might be pretty inexpensive - not real attractive to dumb****s who run them through houses

oh yah, to my mini vacation...hit up some some secret fishing hole up in the gold lakes basin area..3 of us landed 55-60 rainbow/brook trout in 4 hours only kept 9 though, great fishing, screnery is unbelievable, but the coolest part was when an osprey swooped down about 20 feet away from our boat and picked off a trout, freaking awesome!
