UTEC Tuning Shop in Sacramento/Roseville
Hello! I'm a new member to this forum and I need a your guidance. I've got a 2002 WRB WRX sedan running a similar configuration to a TurboXS Stage 3 setup:
TurboXS: UTEC, TBE, TMIC, Tuna
APS: Hood Scoop Splitter
STI Hood Scoop
Helix: UpPipe (in transit)
I'm running the basic TXS Stage 2 map until the UpPipe arrives at which time I'll switch to the Stage 3 map which I'd like to customize to my ride. The issue is that I've read the UTEC manual, Mick the Ginges tuning guide and half a dozen different forum's (NASIOC, Scoobymods, ClubWRX, WRXHackers, MachVForums, etc...) and have been sufficiently overwhelmed enough to throw up my hands and decide to pay somebody else to do it. Especially since I have a 1-month old son and no time to learn how to properly tune an engine anyways...
Can you guy's recommend a good tuning shop in the Sacramento/Roseville/Rocklin area that I can pay to tune my UTEC for me? I know a couple shops in the Bay Area that'll do it, but that's too far for me to go with a newborn right now.
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated and I look forward to meeting you at one of the weekly meets in the not-too-distant future. Thanks!

Well, I'm obviously biased, but Subaru Specialists can do it anytime; we're downtown, have a Mustang AWD dyno, and can tune anything you bring in. Give us a call and we can get you on the books for a tune; dyno tuning runs around $180 an hour. The number is (916)442-6409

Wow, you guys are quick with your responses, a lot faster than some of the other forums I've been in...
I guess I should've paid attention to the banner ad for Subaru Specialists MotorSports at the top of the webpage and I wouldn'tve had to ask... Does SS-MS have a new website? I can't seem to connect to the banner's link: http://www.ss-ms.com/

Hey QuillerWRX,
Another great choice is Ed at EQ tuning in Davis-- EQtuning.com I believe is his website
He's putting down some really strong tunes lately, and I'm actually getting tuned by him for my uppipe, IC hoses, turboback, stage 2 setup this weekend. I'm sure he will post up what I get as of the end of this weekend if you are interested in checking it out : )

P.S. he has Ecutek software AND also tunes for UTEC and any other programs out there as well

Hey sonicsuby, yeah I'm a systems administrator and have to patch/update several Windows servers on a constant basis to remove the latest and greatest Microsoft vulnerabilities. How about you?

Hey Wingless Wonder, thanks for the advice, that might be a good time saver once that UpPipe gets here! Plus I'll probably trust a professional install better than my rookie attempt.

Hey PlatNmRex, thanks for the input. I'll take all the info I can get!
