Hey all. My GF's bro found a female pitt last night but their dogs didnt like her so they couldnt leave her in their house. This morning they woke up and the dog was still there. He brought it over to our place for the time being. Its a female pitt maybe 2-3 years old. Her brother called SPCA and they came and picked her up before we had a chance to find her home. Put up signs and she went to the SPCA off Bradshaw.
When we were about to leave to put up signs we came across this male puppy a year or less old. Made more signs and put them up as well. He is still currently at our place. Great dog.
If you or someone you know in the Citrus Heights area (About Antelope/Van Maren or surrounding neighborhoods) has lost their pitts please let me know ASAP!!
We are going to keep this guy till tomorrow afternoon then I think we are going to have to call SPCA again
PM and give me a description of the dogs and ill give more info.
EDIT: Still have the dog... might keep him if we cant find the owner.

Well the female that was picked up did have a collar but no tags.. the puppy has nothing
I just didnt want to give away a description of the dogs or collar so the true owner can hopfully claim them

poor puppy, I'm glad there are good people like you. When I use to go to the dog park a lot there were so many flyers of peoples dogs being stolen that's its not even funny.

Well im sure the rain washed down most signs. Little guy slept inside with us last night and was great! Took him out early this morning and he took a ****, brought him back in and we both went back to sleep.

If you just found pitts out there, I highly doubt the owners are looking for the dogs, probably just dumped them out there.

They are both really good looking dogs, clean and dont smell. One had a collar on. Both have great temperments. The puppy is maybe six months old.

Got a call today, hit off craigslist (good idea RussB), but it was for a different Pitt. She ripped off her collar and ran away Wed night with the thunder/lightning
