Well, with your credit score, you're obviously a smart financially. Which means, this is your own damn fault.

****ers
IIRC you have to actually be late to get assistance.

and is countrywide the actual lender or just the servicer of the loan? if they just service it (FHA loans, etc...) their hands are somewhat tied.

nope, they are the actual lender. since i wasnt a first time home buyer i didnt qualify for much of anything. rate on the house im in is 4.75 since it was the first and the throw away house is 5.75 because apparently im responsible

lolz. yeah, my first mortgage was pretty bad ***. something like 4.25%, 0 down, yadda yadda yadda...

one of my friends is selling his custom home for the same price he could have got about 2 years ago ($250+/sq. ft.) and buying something much bigger for like $140/sq. ft. bastard.

i put 100k down on each house, because regardless of temporary market fluctuations, real estate is a supremely good store of value. as they say "the thing about real estate is they just aren't making any more of it".

taking a loss sucks but not as much as poaching from investments that weren't meant to be touched in the short term. if i have to shell out i will... just goes as a less, be as irresponsibility as you want because someone will bail you out as long as you moan long enough
