very nice! we have a bigger selection of SLR equipment at roseville. actually, the biggest of any best buy in the area anyways. dont get a tamron lens, they are ****ty. stick with canon ones.

I'm using the sigma variety, but only 18-125 since the 18-200 came out a few months later

But that's what the 70-200 4.0 L is for. Super sharp at 200mm.

And the only affordable L glass.

Its huge and heavy, though. And if you walk around with it on, say, at a zoo, MANY people will come and harrass you for photography advice.

haha when i put on my bigger sigma lens(the 70-200 lens *neener neener neener*) it's funny how people react, they think you are some kind of master photographer, I should just start taking pics for them and charging them, then send them point and shoot camera quality pictures

Do you have the sigma 2.8 lens? That's a damn fine lens.

This is my 70-200 (4.0L)




with the lens hood, its friggin huge on the end of the camera, which is already big with the battery grip.


Must have for any Canon doodz. Its the only affordable L glass.

yeah, thats why i didnt say anything about them. the tamron ones we carry at my work and just looking at them you can tell they are cheap quality.
