So here's another question...
1. Where can I take my wife's '99 blazer to find out what's wrong?
2. Is it worth even looking?
I was backing into the driveway and I felt a big thump. After that it just made a spinning sound but not move-ey.
On a positive note, it still goes forward...

no way!
you could get a used one w/ less miles for the recycle yards for prolly around $500.
and unless you plan on towing large loads (which, its a blazer, so the engine couldn't hang) then go w/ a scrapyard piece.
no tranny is worth that much, unless its for a crazy tow vehicle.
