Sacramento Rally-X?!

Actually rain won't necessarily mean mud. It's so dry out there we will still have a water truck to keep the dust down. That's usually as close to mud as it gets. But if people want mud we can always dump water in a low spot and they can roll around in that if they want, oink, oink, oink.

where can I find a copy of the rules and classes for that event?
and do we have to have the car teched before the event?
i searched the CSCC site and couldn't find anything about rules & regs or classes or teching the vehicle.
normally for NASA events I can print up a check sheet and have it signed off by a local shop.
if i make it out, it's gonna be last min and I want to make sure I have everything in line.

No problem, Pozzi, you can find the rules at sfrscca.org/rallyx/
Tech is done at the site, not as serious as a track day, basic safety stuff.
Classes, what type of mods have you done to your car.
stock=nothing done to your car, street tires.
rally prepared=suspension mods, street or rally tires, no engine mods.
rally modified=almost anything goes, suspension mods, street or rally tires, engine mods.
Thems the rules in a nut shell, but you will find more in depth detail in the rule book.
Hope to see you out there.

super smooth course, thanks a lot Brent! will you be smoothing it out again before next weekend? because those fun runs were pretty rough! otherwise i wont make the 3 hour trek to ruin my alignment but thanks for the hard work, best course ive ever been on.

Yeah, next weeks course should be as smooth. It'll be a different design. Thanks for letting me know how the fun runs were more rough, since we didn't drag and water the course. We'll probably do that for fun runs next weekend.
That just shows how spoiled we can be. If you want to have fun, check out nrscca region photos of the rallycrosses in nebraska. They get ruts a foot deep, both tracks for tires.
