Sacramento Rally-X?!
Well, I figured I should let everyone know on here, since registration is limited, but there is a Rally-X for SACRAMENTO!
Its being held at the Prairie City OHV in Rancho Cordova. Its being put on by CSCC, which has been the dying alternative to SCCA Auto-X. Its being held April 29, and is limited to 75 entrants.
http://www.csccautox.org/5-7-06.htm
Registration is done here:
http://www.myautoevents.com
Search for it under RallyCross, then you have to register for the site then register yourself for competition.
This will be my first Rally-X and I hope it won't be my last!

Hey, this is the first time they are doing this. This isn't SCCA run, and most people in the Sac area are a part of the SFR SCCA region, not Reno.
For some of us, Thunderhill is just too out of the way, and this is a great opportunity to experience Rally-X without the 1-1.5 hour drive to Thunderhill.
Not to mention, if this goes well, maybe there will be more!

Glad to see people talking this up. I'm the goof that is helping all this happen at Prairie City. It can be the perfect location, we'll just need tractor time. The VORRA events are awesome, only a couple of $100,000 desert racers at the last event. I'm just glad even Sacramento people don't have to trek to Thill, let alone some bay area folks. Look forward to meeting everyone out there.
One update is the first event is cut back to 60 to ensure that the event runs smoothly. In the future I hope we can accomodate upwards of 100 with 4 runs and fun runs, SEAT TIME GOOD.

DDMan, thanks for starting this thread. I hope you do enjoy your first rallycross, let me know if you have any questions. Which brings up something I didn't figure. How many people hear have never even been too or heard of rallycross?
How many people think it is bad for your car? Remember Subaru built these cars for a reason, not just to be purdy little show cars. Yes the first WRX was a weak offering, personally that was GM's fault not Subaru's. But, still I kicked everyones **** at Thunderhill in 2003 with my WRX.
So again, I hope everyone will reply with any questions about rallycross, don't be afraid, going fast in the dirt is FUN!!!
