Sacramento area subaru dealerships, which one?
I was wondering what dealerships you guys take your car to be worked on? The ones I know about close by are: Autowest, Maita, Senator and Shingle Springs. I bought my wrx from Maita and figured that would be the best place for me. Explain why you bring it to the dealership you do. Thanks in advance.
Oh, I suppose I should specify that my reason for bringing my car to a dealership in the first place would be for warranty work.

I dealt with ericdared81 (Autowest) entirely over PM's, it was awesome.
My parents have had good luck at Shingle Springs. Keep in mind, though, they seem more friendly to people my parents age then my own.

Actually they might be better now since the service manager at the time of my incident is no longer employed at Maita.....
I've been the happiest with Autowest in Roseville. If you're talking about regular services though, like oil changes or other maintenance, in addition to modding, you gotta go to Subaru Specialists.

Maita did me good. Shingle Springs have done me good, but my car wasn't modded (except wheels and tires). Never been anywhere else.

Here's another -1 for Maita. They suck donkey dicks. Had a turboback and they immediately blame everything on the turboback without even attempting to look at any other possible causes.
They tried to fix my trunk that was hard to open and made it worse.
Their sales people are boneheads, too.

So then which dealership is reccomended for a modded car? Who actually makes an effort to be informed on the subaru community ie i-club, nasioc? It seems like it would be smart to know whats going on not only to help out the die-hard scoob fans but for the dealer to know what sort of modifications are being talked about, etc. I am eventually planning to mod my car but if I didnt have to i'd rather not "revert to stock" every time I had a under warranty issue.
Of course I would swing by S-Squared for any non warranty-claim related services!

Basically, don't expect a lot of leeway for mods that actually make your car faster. And, if you do have significant mods, you can't expect anybody to warranty your car when doing so is expressly forbidden under the terms of the warranty contract.
