Rally Armor flaps ok to automatic car wash?

Was wondering if anyone that has rally armour flaps goes through automatic car washes with no problems? I liked using quick quack car wash before I got my flaps, because I never had any water spots, but I stopped using it after installing my flaps since it seems that the flaps might not clear the automated system. I'm tired of washing the car by hand and having to deal with the numerous water spots that appear from the minerals in my water here at home. Even drying the car as fast as possible still leaves residue. I don't know what to do!!!!!

claybar and wax I've seen one guy with a 08+ hatchback go through a car wash with mudflaps but he looked stock height. I'm sure if you are stock height, you will be fine.

Urethane or Basic?

Urethane should be fine. Basic might have problems. I had vinyl flaps on my car and I take it through Classic Carwash all the time. The flaps just bent and slid along the top of the track. My car is also lowered.

Urethane should be flexible to just bend up and then flop back down when the car comes out. Basics might not flop back down.

Does that make any sense?

My car's pretty low, and I've run both basics and urethanes through with no probs.

I went through a carwash with the urethanes and they were ripped right off.
The stock mounting hardware is garbage so I would say no to being safe.

Anyone with flaps is much better off doing touchless or washing by hand.
