Yea, ever since I had a little mishap in my Z I have carried a 20' nylon tow rope with me at nearly all times (in fact that reminds me I need to get one for the suby). I havnt had to use it yet to tow me or someone out, but I did have to use it to straighten my drivers control arm when I did the same as u and hit some ice and slid into the wall.

There are a bunch of guys that can give you good advice for suspension...and I'll be happy to share my thoughts and recommendations. Drop me a PM anytime.

My car does handle great, but I was running R-compounds too.

I already had my fun with crappy tires in snow last year, I'm not doing that again

I think for my next drive I'm going to recreate Stage 2 from the Tour of California (Martinez to San Jose via back roads)

They are legal between November 1 and May 1. Probably would have helped a little in this situation. Seriously though, I see this type of crap all the time. AWD works great until you have no throttle on, then you are just like everyone else.

I almost forgot about thispicture...at the very end of the road, as far as we could go that is, a 4x4 came along and tried to make it over this bank...I still think he could've made it if he launched it!

Ya, I agree I decided the looks will out weight the extra weight haha. I was trying to find a CF RS hood, but the only ones I could find where knock off ebay hoods... NTIA on that one!! haha
