Egan, any dorifto footage of me?
The first two of the three video files from the ride back were corrupted.

Sorry, all I have is video of me behind Aaron and the slow climb up the hill. I can't find my mpeg encoder software, but I should be able to get everything edited by tomorrow. I'm also going to post up the footage from the MLK drive which is a nice blast from the lookout to the snow.

Damn...that looks like so much fun. I probly woulda taken my car into a tree though

I need to take my Audi up there before the snow melts though! You guys got almost exactly as far as I did when I went last year in Jan. I didnt have to drive on any snow to get there though (it was plowed all the way to the intersection where that blue sign is).

Ice Kicked my *** even when I was going slower then **** there was no stopping that 3400 pound car... The car is a savage it drove the 40+ Miles home without a single problem... Well Besides my MAF sensor falling off halfway home and me trying to fix it on the side of the road! But once that was fixed It drove fine! LOL

Nice pic. Was the car sliding much when you took that? Or are the wheels just spinning?

It was actually going foward pretty good, but mainly just the wheels just spinning then he stopped right after I took a couple pictures!! I got a couple more non car off cliff pics lol. I was able to take like 4 pics of him spinning all 4 tires before he had to stop

IIRC, studded tires are illegal in California, unless i'm mistaken...

I already had my fun with crappy tires in snow last year, I'm not doing that again

I think for my next drive I'm going to recreate Stage 2 from the Tour of California (Martinez to San Jose via back roads)

Well, it wasn't just me, it was everybody. I'm happy that so many people came out, and I hope we can all do it again sometime. My suspension was a bit sloppy, but my tires gripped like nothing else, wouldn't mind doing it againg sometime soon. Thanks everyone!

Edit: Sorry you didn't make it to BJ's, we thought you weren't coming. Shoulda given out precise directions to everyone before we all tore off.
