Oh yay P0304 CEL

So yeah I floored it after getting in a fight with my girlfriend and i floored it pretty damn hard and redlined it and lost traction.... now i have a cylinder #4 misfire and my car idles like a motherf***** rollercoaster.... geeze what a night

I want to take it into the dealership to have it checked out but im worried i have voided my warranty... I have the cobb accessport and a turboback exhaust. I was thinking I could install the stock exhaust and reset the ecu so the dealer wouldnt know but when i tried to reset the ecu with my accessport it tells me "error communicating with ecu" ... so im screwed =/

Im going to run a compression test today and then possibly replace spark plugs... anyone have any advice to give to me ???? it would be greatly apperciated

in all honesty, sounds like compression is lost somehow in #4

did you raise the rev limit at all with the accessport ?

its possible, I am not too sure how well the accessport pulls OBDII codes, you may think about taking it somewhere, even your neighborhood autozone can do it, and have the codes pulled by an actual OBDII scan tool

Q. Can a dealer detect that I have an AccessPORT (AccessECU reflash)?

A. With the tools currently available at Subaru dealerships, it is not possible for them to detect that the ECU has been modified. We own the same service tools used by all Subaru dealerships and have verified that their function is unaltered by the AccessECU. Therefore, your vehicle can be serviced by the dealership in the same way as a stock vehicle.
straight from cobbs FAQ... that makes me a feel a little better atleast

i havent seen that, that thread has lots of good information it it, but, there is a difference with lots of peoples problems versus mine, some people just have the cel p0304 without the actual missfire???, my engine is actually jacked up, i lift hte hood and watch it shake like crazy, could there be motor mount issues as well???
