So had to go into the insurance company today to update things. They told us once we are officially married, we can bring in the marriage license and it will bring down the cost a bit.
So for ****s and giggles, I decided to see how much our payments would go up on a 2011 STi
If I sold the bugeye and replaced it with the 2011 STI (also keeping the eclipse) our payments would go up $91 over 6 months..so a little over $15 more a month
If we kept both the eclipse and wrx, and added the STi it would go up $500 over six months... so about $83 more per month..
Not too bad

Saw the car on Saturday... Not so factory fresh anymore.. That thing has been thoroughly molested now.. I wouldn't buy it.. The entire time I was at the stealership a string of people were constantly climbing all over inside of it, opening and closing every orifice.. Generally groping every last square inch of it.. And everyone I watched had to go and rub their hands on the paint.. Like that color paint felt different when you grind dirt into it..
One Asian chick actually started climbing through it from the back seat into the front.. Her shoes getting all over the seat / stepping on the trim.. Not really sure what she was testing.. I don't think her or her man spoke Engrish.. Is "climbability" from the back to the front a highly desired feature in the Asian corner of the world?

They are taught at a young age to deal with urban density, so climabillity is very important. Their "Lovers Lane" is about 10 meters wide so it can only fit 5.2 cars so you can't always open the doors to hop in the back.
They let people test drive those? I remember when the STi replaced the WRX early 2000s they wouldnt allow test drives. I wouldnt want my car molested by anyone. thats used IMO!

That's exactly how I feel which is why I never test drive a new car. I am tempted to test drive a 2011 WRX, but I wouldn't want to hit boost or anything. Especially since it's someone's future car. If I was gonna buy it then sure. Anyway, they are still looking great. Dunno if I wanna get a 2011 WRX or just build my '02
