Need shop for new paint job!
I posted this in BAIC too but, since I'm located in Davis, Sacramento works too
I need a new paint job on my bumper after a hit and run and key scratches all around my car
Does anyone have a good body shop? A buddy of mine recommended TNT autobody in sac
Oh yes, any info on how they are with insurances companies would be greatly appreciated

what color is your car?
I had an experience with TNT a few months ago and it wasn't too great.
Not going to lie, they have great customer service, but the work they did on my car (went through insurance) and it was a bit half assed.
Got my car detailed last weekend and I was asked if it had been repainted on a certain side. Apparently, it wasn't wet sanded
The detailer pointed it out and it was noticeable because of dull spots compared to the oem paint.
I'm going to try to contact them to see if they can wetsand it

I went to Ed at Endless Autobody in Sac. I didn't go through insurance because the cost to repaint my bumper was less than my deductible. He's done plenty of Subarus before, has quick turn around time, very polite, and great communication. Let him know that some i-club members referred you.

that's the thing...that was the second attempt of fixing it for free, they couldn't get the fenders to match the hood the 2nd time around
so they tried to do 1/2 of the hood to blend with the fenders. Come to find out last weekend that it wasn't wet sanded

^^ That sucks man. I hear that T&T is hit or miss. There's a bunch of G35's that roll around town that have beautiful paint..looks like a lot of time was spent on those?? My friend just went to Schatz & Krum's collision shop and his car came out looking gorgeous!!

I used to have a G35 and people rave about that place.
I thought to myself that I'll take my car there if I need any body work. I live in Fairfield and It's about 50-60 miles from me. I thought I don't care about the drive as long as I get quality work...
I guess I should have learned the first time.
If I were you, I would go to what your insurance company will recommend (since you are going through insurance). Reason being is that the work will be warrantied and hassle free since the insurance company will deal with the body shop regarding all the defects.

Endless Autobody is the spot, i've gotten 3 subaru's done there and so far so good. Ed or Sum is the guy you gonna wanna talk to. As for TnT, i've never seen their work but their shop cars look really good..so i would expect the same quality work.

I had my paintjob done at Tnt Autobody and I had a great experience with them. I had it done almost a year and a half ago and the paint is still cherry. I will be attending meets soon, just signed up to this forum and can't find anything yet. Good luck with your decision and hopefully i will meet you subie guys in sac soon.
