Since your situational awareness skills obviously seem lacking - you absolutely sure you didn't clip another pedestrian or bike (downed or otherwise) in your little out of control high speed flyby? - If so those riders might have been after you / trying to make you pull over for a hit and run...
thanks for all the input, but don't forget that there shouldn't be 20 bikes on the off ramp even if there was a downed rider, which there was not. One of the girls behind me who I was with pulled into the gas station and they all followed her in there and were waiting for her before SHE called the police. I didn't hit anything at all, and thanks for bashing my situational skills when you don't know how poorly lit this off ramp is. Because there are no lights on the street, nor the bikes.

i always ride/drive with mine. by the time you slam on your brakes, get out you will have drawn your gun WAY before the first ****er has turned off his bike, kick stand down and gotten off. its just me but ill throw down regardless on the numbers. if you really hurt, and i mean REALLY hurt the first guy the rest will stop and think about the overall out come. helmets make great handles and the body follows the head.

That was the point. The bikers likely got bobb126's license plate number, and jaytheman pointed out the bikers could find bobb126's house based on that information.

And I'm pretty sure there are worse ideas on this page of the thread.

Bikers - especially Harley riders - are f*gs. Their exhausts are so loud and when they pass you in the traffic you almost **** urself...amazingly cops don't pull them over, but when u put some mild exhaust on ur Suby, CHP is all over u

That's where you're wrong. I own an 06 CBR and I ride, I don't belong in any groups in particular though...unless you count the people from BARF (weirdest acronym..lol) and i'm no ***....i';m pretty sure im not, ;p;

But u do make a good point about the story being kinda off lol I just don't think something like this would happen that way lol

you're not talking about a loaded weapon in public are you? i know people always complain about **** like that. i know for a fact you can literally disassemble a handgun into the slider, loaded magazine, and lower receiver and keep them under your seat or in your glovebox..kuz they're literally just parts and so cops cant hassle you for that

Sorry bro, I didn't mean that. I meant organized groups that cause only trouble.

HAHA, no worries man. Yeah, it's people like them that gives sportbike riders a bad reputation. We're just like us Subaru enthusiasts...we want to enjoy our forms of transportation..ha

I used to ride a lot and rode around with some of the SBF guys when they were first starting out, i.e. before it became a big gay fraternity. (Guess they watched Biker Boyz and SoA too much or something)... Anyways, I agree with a lot of you guys, they'll pull off to the side of the road in big groups to meet up with other riders and they do it in some of the worst places. One other spot I can think of is the causeway between Sac and Davis. Instead of pulling off on Harbor Blvd or the road after the bridge they'll park in a big group right on the causeway, dangerously close to freeway traffic and right after a lane merge. Not the smartest think to do but who said these guys are smart?

Bobb126, I live in Roseville and am very familiar with that exit and yes, it is dimly lit, BUT lit enough to see whats around you, especially with the light from your car and IF you exited at a safe speed (which most ppl in the area don't do). As far as situational awareness goes, why the hell didn't you flip a b**** and head toward the casino?! It's maybe 1/2 mile away and very easy to see from the exit. There is ALWAYS.... no, let me rephrase that...... ALWAYS a CHP or Placer County officer on site, not to mention a ridiculous amount of security and cameras all over the place. You also had several options for a fast getaway from that exit. You could have just turned left instead of going right and would have had freeway to get away and get on your phone. Its also a lot harder (almost impossible) to perform ANY act of aggression while on a bike at freeway speeds aside from pulling a gun because at that point all focus is on control of the bike. I know this is all after the fact and sometimes its hard to think the situation through when the adrenaline is pumping but you kind of left yourself open for the car bashing. It sucks that this happened and I'm glad you weren't hurt and didn't escalate the situation into getting yourself or someone else hurt though.

Wow, the moment someone ****s with your car is the moment they cease to mean anything. You should've let them follow you home, run inside real quick, and grab your pistol/rifle. See how badass they are when they have a few holes in thier bikes (you can call them warning shots). As long as they are threatening you on your property, you can pretty much pop off a few rounds on anything but thier bodies, and if they come at you, well...

...I miss Texas, there's a reason why this kind of stuff doesnt happen thier. My trusty M1911A1 .45 right between my center console and drivers seat ready to go.

Ive seen these guys around before. I stopped at a gas station late one night and there was about 15 of them. They were talking **** about me and my car as I went inside and then they swarmed my car while I was in the building (I think looking inside to see if there was anything valuable in it). I come out and a few of them are still looking in and I ask if I can help them and they all just start laughing. Then I leave and they followed me for a while. ****ing weirdo's. Sorry to hear about the incident you had man. Theyre lucky that they didnt catch us rolling 30-40 deep one day.

op was in his car, those guys were on bikes.. idk if it were just me, but i'd assume he's safer in his car

imo, 2 best ways to handle that depending on how much you have to lose in the end and what your rap sheet looks like

1. use your car and smash 'em all, especially if they're packing and in huge numbers.. you swerved into 'em some to avoid getting hit but didn't know there were others on the other side so some went down.. with a ratio like 20:1, you're in for a good one.. if they're armed, well.. your mind should go into only one mode, that is for them to go down before you do

2. drive straight to any cop station, run inside, tell 'em bikers are following you and they're trying to kill you

with stuff like this, legalities mean nothing during the moment.. like it or not, it's all about survival

It only takes a couple seconds to alter your life forever.

Everyone is a tough guy and says "I would have done this and that.....", but in the end if for whatever reason you are convicted of vehicular homicide (which will be decided by a jury, and you WON'T just be let go without a trial) you will spend a large portion of the rest of your life behind bars.

Finally someone was thinking like I was. Thanks. Obviously nothing goes down perfectly or ideally, but I honestly think they were just heated from the situation. Unless serious circumstances arose, I wouldn't really think about trying to 'survive', because that never ended up happening.
