either way is fun.
3am runs rock.
A really fun road to run late at night is up in Grass Valley (well, between Auburn and Grass Valley at Lake of the Pines). Take Magnolia Rd. towards Weimar/Colfax, go right on Dogbar Rd., then left on Placer Hills Rd. It's about 12 miles to Colfax. My gf used to live on Hwy 174 past Colfax and I'd drive that road nearly every night. I got the entire drive down to about 13 minutes I drove it a few weeks ago in the RS. I'm not as fast as I used to be because I don't know the road anymore

Like these two just down the street from my house?

EG Blvd @ clark farms is the bigger of the two and is a good 40mph. The other one is about 10 slower.

I'd rather have these than a stop sign or traffic signal.

Except for the jackholes that have never seen one and don't know how they work. Remember the tire tracks through the middle when they first put it in? :rotfl:

And the ensuing eleventy-billion signs after all the accidents to tell people how to use it.

Cherry Glen -> Lyon Road (frontage, eastbound) rules. Pleasant Valley is pretty fun too, but it's no MRR/Icehouse/49. I used to commute from fairfield to vacaville, I wore out 2 sets of tires on CG and PV.

Ya those tracks were cool.

I think the sign thing was kind of an experiment. It kept changing every couple of weeks.

I still like it.

A fun drive I did a while back is take sierra college alllll the way out until it t-bones the 193, go right, and it takes you up to Ophir (called the Newcastle highway), when you get to Ophir, take Wise Road North a little ways, and you can then take a left on Gold Hill Rd. and it loops you back round to the 193 and you can take it back to Sierra College again, its short, but fun, and full of good twisties.

I love mashing on the gas through the Roseville tunnel onto 80. I always slow way down and usually drop down into 1st then just floor it all the way through. So fun.
