Who is John Bull?
John Bull is a national personification of England created by Dr. John Arbuthnot in 1712 and popularized first by British print makers and then overseas by illustrators such as American cartoonist Thomas Nast.
As a literary figure, John Bull is well-intentioned, frustrated, full of common sense, and entirely of native country stock. Ya I had the actual beer. It came in a fruity bottle if I remember. I was wayyy to young to remember if it was good or not. I might have to order a case of it or something.

Today is the last day of the year. We'll see if I can get through it without maiming myself or losing someone else I love. **** yo couch.
Let's see for 07:
- Wife nearly broke her ankle while at work in the middle of the night. Spent like two months in a velcro boot.
- Had an accident and bruised my collar bone. Couldn't sleep for **** for like six weeks.
- Just as she got healed, she got a kidney stone (which may be hereditary in her family)
- Right after that, I broke my leg, reverting all of the fitness I'd gained and the weight I'd lost. Got to spend six days in the hospital, have this metal thing bolted to bars that went through my leg. Lots of pain, doctor visits, PT visits, life on hold for 15 weeks.
- Got a nasty cold to help ring in the new year, which just transferred to my wife.
- The day after I got the cold, my grandmother died.
Today is the last day of the year. We'll see if I can get through it without maiming myself or losing someone else I love. **** yo couch.
